1. Product introduction
API globe valves are mainly API and ASME standards, ASTM, ASTM is the material standard, not the standard of the valve itself;Globe valves designed, manufactured, manufactured and tested to American standards are called globe valves.Globe valves and flanged globe valves are of the same type, the shutoff is a disc, the stem around the center line of the body to open and close a valve.
2. Product features
API globe valve in the pipeline is mainly used to cut off, distribution and change the flow direction of the medium.American standard globe valve is a new type of valve widely used in recent years, it has the following advantages:
1.The resistance coefficient is equal to that of the pipe segment of the same length.
2.Simple structure, small size, light weight.
3.Close and reliable, gate valve sealing material is widely used plastic, good sealing, in vacuum system has also been widely used.
4.Easy to operate, quick to open and close, from full open to full close as long as the rotation 90°, convenient for remote control.
5.Easy maintenance, gate valve structure is simple, sealing ring is generally active, disassembly and replacement are more convenient.
6.When fully open or fully closed, the sealing surface of the ball and seat is isolated from the medium, which will not erode the sealing surface of the valve when the medium passes through.
7.Wide range of applications, from small to a few millimeters, to a few meters, from high vacuum to high pressure can be applied, when the ball rotating 90 degrees, in the inlet and outlet should all appear spherical, thus cutting off the flow.

5, Principle of action
When the medium flows from below the disc, the sealing force applied must be equal to or greater than the sum of the necessary specific pressure on the sealing surface and the upward force of the medium. When the medium is flowing from above the disc, the sealing force applied is equal to or greater than the difference between the pressure force generated on the sealing surface and the acting force of the medium. Its advantage is that there is no friction when the contact surface is closed, and the performance of the sealing surface will not be affected when the roundness of the sealing surface is deformed due to the stress of the pipeline. But solid particles and sediment in the medium are easy to damage the sealing surface.
